One of Royal Caribbean's big, resort style ships, Welcome to Navigator of the Seas, boasting incredible features. This amazing ship sails to the Western Caribbean as well as Florida, Mexico and Texas from its home port of Galveston. The ship has recently undergone a major refit, adding new restaurants and bars, a giant movie screen over the pool and new 'virtual balconies' in the inside cabins, so you'll always have a view of the sea via a giant TV screen on one wall that for all the world looks like a real balcony.
Beginning with both ice-skating and inline skating, entertainment covers any activity you can think of; there's mini-golf, ball courts, rock climbing and the Royal Promenade, a lively boulevard lined with shops, cafes and pubs. Parents enrol their younger children at the award winning Adventure Ocean kids club and pack teens off to one of three dedicated areas while they enjoy a much-needed break in the adults-only Solarium.
Grown-up entertainment also includes 12 bars and lounges - a cosy pub, a jazz club, Casino Royale, Connoisseur Cigar Club and many more - and evening shows at the Metropolis Theatre. Couples can renew their vows at the Skylight Wedding Chapel or simply enjoy a romantic night alone.
Places to eat include a Ben and Jerry's ice-cream bar; the retro American-themed Johnny Rocket's, for burgers; and a new, Mexican restaurant, Sabor, as well as new Italian trattoria, Giovanni's. For a touch of sophistication, Portofino's serves hgh class Mediterranean dishes while steak and seafood can be had at Chops Grille.
As with its four sister ships, Navigator of the Seas accommodates 3,114. Cabins feature either twin beds or a king bed, a shower, vanity and new flat-screen TV. Many have a private balcony, ideal for cruising those balmy Caribbean waters.
