Seabourn Encore redefines the industry's expectations for an ultra-luxury experience. Modelled after the award-winning trio of small ships that began with Seabourn Odyssey in 2009, this striking vessel offers one additional deck, allowing for even more luxury suites (a total of 300), and yet another beautiful, special-occasion dining alternative.
Loyal Seabourn guests will find many of their favourite features on board, but realized with additional flair provided by the design genius of Adam D. Tihany. Recognized as one of the pre-eminent designers in the world, Tihany specialises in developing elegantly individual spaces for the most highly rated restaurants, hotels, resorts and spas in the hospitality industry. There is a softness and a curvaceous elegance to his designs, the ship feels more luxurious, more like a private residential yacht. And, true to his vision, Tihany has enriched Encore with an impressive array of unexpected surprises and subtle transformations for guests to continually discover and delight in.
Tihany is very aware that the views on a ship change constantly – unlike those of a land based hotel. Dining areas have a more dramatic look such as the Restaurant, while in the Colonnade the first thing that guests see is a display of stunning foods.
The Club is an elegant and inviting lounge with striking elements to catch the eye and a world class programme of music, dancing and entertainment. Guests have direct access to the Club Terrace, an intimate exclusive alfresco lounge area with a plunge pool and two whirlpool spas, at its heart an elegant fountain which illuminates at night. .
Seabourn Encore's extra deck offers a new speciality restaurant connected by stairs to the Colonnade, while social spaces such as Seabourn Square, the "Piazza" at the heart of the ship, "flow" more easily.
All-Suite Delights
Seabourn Encore features 300 spacious, well-appointed suites, all of which include a private veranda. The majority these range from nearly 300 square feet for the standard veranda suite, plus a private veranda measuring up to 74 square feet, to the ultimate in luxury, the 1,300 square ft Wintergarden suites, which have a huge veranda.
All accommodation features striking design, tasteful and sophisticated decor, and abundant light, with finishes in rich mahogany wood, blue and white detailed carpet and tailored white stitched upholstered headboards.
As always the Personal Suite Stewardess' thoughtful, unobtrusive service include welcome champagne and canapes; a selection of designer soaps; replenishing ice and bar set-up; managing laundry service needs; assisting with special requests; and personalised nightly turndown
